Although it's hosted Olympians such as Kristi Yamaguchi and Dorthy Hamill, during an average public session you'll mostly find beginners burning off energy. The rink offers a variety of classes, ranging from a 15 min intro during public hours to regular classes. Advanced skaters can attend freestyle sessions or join synchronized skating teams.

Lisa R:  Programs at this multi-faceted sports center are mostly geared towards kids that want to compete and perform, although public skating is offered as well midday, and on Friday nights with music. The center offers introductory to advanced figure skating and hockey teams, with special programs like the Competitor's Club, performance opportunities, and travel leagues for kids that want to step up their game.

Lisa R:  This Arlington Rink is regulation NHL size and hosts classes, hockey leagues, public skate times, and parties (check out the carousel!). Families can watch or participate in annual figure skating shows and regular competitions. Themed costume nights are typically scheduled the last Friday of the month and Broomball can be a fun teen activity.
