Eastmonte Park
This bright, clean and colorful spot is one of the best playgrounds in Orlando and the suburbs! Eastmonte Park offers a modern, shaded playground with features designed with kids of all abilities in mind. The play equipment is new and well-maintained, spread out, and fenced in with one entrance - a plus for families who are keeping track of multiple kids! The park also has baseball fields, batting cages, tennis court, basketball court, picnic pavilions and much more.
Howell Branch Preserve Playground
This cozy spot in Winter Park features a fun playground with climbing walls, slides and other play structures. You'll appreciate the padded artificial turf flooring! Make sure to explore the park's paved walking trail, with an observation deck that overlooks a natural wetland. Parking and restrooms are available onsite.
Phelps Park Playground
The reimagined playground at Phelps Park is not to be missed! There are plenty of thoughtfully-designed modern wooden play structures scattered around where kids can slide, climb, swing and explore. You'll find an abundance of smaller-scale activities for toddlers and preschoolers, so this is a great spot for a playdate. Pavilions, restrooms and parking are onsite.
Community Playground
Also known as "Castle Park," this is the best playground in the area for hours of imaginative fun and pretend play! This Winter Park gem is home to a very large castle-inspired wooden play structure for kids to explore and climb. You'll love that the play area is fully fenced and surrounded by shady trees.
Cady Way Playground
Bright and colorful Cady Way Playground in Winter Park features swings, climbing structures, slides and more. The playground was designed by children and built by volunteers. It is a great place for play!
Lake Baldwin Park Playground
Lake Baldwin Park Playground is a fun spot built by volunteers with climbing and sliding structures and more. The park is near Lake Baldwin and boasts a popular dog-friendly sandy beach. There are picnic areas there as well. Restrooms and parking are available.
Lake Lorna Doone Park
This small but mighty park next to Camping World Stadium includes a shady playground that's inclusive of all abilities. There's also a splash pad, lakeside walking path, garden and putting green! The park hosts regular educator-led nature walks, crafts and games.
Capehart Park
Capehart Park offers two playgrounds that are shielded from the sun, including a tot lot playground for young children. There is a big open field to enjoy, along with a paved walking path and a seasonal splash pad. Restrooms and parking are available onsite.
Barber Park
There's plenty for families to do at Barber Park, especially if you have kids at a variety of ages. In addition to inclusive playground equipment, you'll find a covered roller hockey rink, splash pad, skate park, basketball, volleyball and walking loop.
Southport Community Park
Southport Community Park has a fenced-in playground with areas for big and little kids to play, and benches for parents to sit and relax. The large park is also home to walking paths, baseball and softball athletic fields, basketball court, picnic areas and more.
Dr. P Phillips Community Park
Dr. P Phillips Community Park's playground has been renovated to be bigger and better, with sun sails, a fence, and plenty of climbing, slides and sensory play equipment for all ages. They also boast a splash pad area for kids.
Meadow Woods Park
Meadow Woods Park offers a fun playground that is totally covered and safe from the direct sun. Your kids will love being outdoors with access to this climbing and sliding play structure while avoiding the heat of the day. There are places for parents to sit and relax too. Note that the park area also has a dog park.
