John P. McGovern Playground at Discovery Green

Barbara Fish Daniel Nature Play Area at Buffalo Bayou Park
Buffalo Bayou Park is a 160-acre green space just west of downtown Houston. It has beautiful gardens and native landscaping, as well as hiking and biking trails, a nature play area, and a dog park. There's also public art, and delightful places to picnic, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.
Hermann Park - Buddy Carruth Playground for All Children
The Buddy Carruth Playground at Hermann Park is truly a playground for all kids and all abilities. Offering three separate play structures for kids off all different ages, the park can make for a fun and memorable family day. Most of the playground is handicap accessible and there is a fun, interactive water playground for kids to cool off on a hot and sunny day.
Vale-Asche Foundation Playground at Memorial Park
You'll find the first local "Playground Without Limits" at Memorial Park, designed with equipment that's inclusive for kids of all abilities. Rubber flooring and many low-to-the-ground features make it a particularly good Houston playground for toddlers, too.
Levy Park
Located in the heart of Levy Park, the Children’s Park is devoted to kids, families and play. The space includes non-traditional play features, a climbing wall and seven-foot-wide slide, the Cosmo climbing sphere, lighted tunnels, dance chimes, a three-tiered water feature, play berms, and Children’s Pavilion complete with seating.
River Oaks Park - Pumpkin Park Playground
Kids will love "playing" Cinderella at the Pumpkin Park Playground at River Oaks Park. The park also features a rock climbing wall, monkey bars, swings and more. The fenced in playground offers plenty of benches and shade for parents to relax while the kids have fun.
Wier Park

Exploration Park
This amazing Katy park has one of the best playgrounds in Houston, with plenty to do for all ages despite its modest size. The fenced-in space has a musical bridge, swings, a slide tower and an interactive water cycle wall.
