Kissui
Erynn: Starting with clothes for the tiniest tots, Kissui also offers baby supplies like wrap carriers, feeding products, and more--plus items for mamas and even dads, too. There are books and clothing for every age in between too, including many products from Melissa & Doug and more.
Mother's Secrets
Erynn: It's named after mamas, but this boutique has everything from maternity to clothes for tots and teens. The clothes are resale and, as the company notes, "darn near new," so you're bound to find some great and affordable finds. And, this spot is mom-owned-and-operated, so you know they have your kiddos' interests at heart.
Anthill Shop N Play
Erynn: This shop isn't strictly for kiddos, but it does have a feature every parent wants in a department store: a play area, hands-on games, and other stuff to keep kids occupied while parents shop! Of course, there are tons of toys and kids' clothes to choose from, along with books and even stuff for moms and dads.
Merci Milo
Erynn: Named after their daughter Milo, the owners of Merci Milo conceived the idea for a toy shop when they visited amazing stores in Paris with vintage and heirloom toys. Now, they source toys, accessories, and more from local artisans, small brands, and more.
Green Bean Toys
Erynn: An affordable resale shop with tons of toys and clothes, The Green Bean focuses on being earth-friendly and carefully chooses all its inventory. They also host kids' events throughout the year, such as story times, crafting, and workshops.
Tom's Toys
Erynn: This neighborhood toy shop has been around for over 50 years and has multiple SoCal locations, perfect for stopping in and grabbing a toy or book--and there's free gift-wrapping in store, too. Each location is kid-friendly with a great selection of items.
Monkey Pants
Erynn: While actual Monkey Pants are a style of trouser for tots, this store imports them--and lots of other clothes--directly from Japan. The family-owned business brings tons of cute baby clothes, plus other quirky items from outside the US, to this fashionable downtown spot. Want to dress your tot up like sushi? Monkey Pants can also help with that!
Yolk
Erynn: The kitschy Yolk store offers artisan gifts and jewelry but they also focus on toys and curated kids' fashion--making for a super fun shopping experience for all ages. Their three locations mean there's an accessible spot to grab a cute stuffed animal, book, toy, or clothing item for your special kiddo.
The Reckless Unicorn
Erynn: The Reckless Unicorn has everything from nursery decor to kids' clothing, and in addition to vintage finds and unique items, there are also plenty of unicorn-themed products (of course!). Everything is fun and funky and totally reasonable in terms of price, too, so you don't have to break the bank to get a gift for the special kiddo in your life.
Wear it Once Wear it Twice
Erynn: A boutique that offers previously loved clothes, this store stocks sizes from infant to size 12 and steam-cleans everything before displaying it on the shelves. You can find clothes and accessories here, but also gently used baby items and equipment.
Landis' Labyrinth
Erynn: All on the same block, Landis' Labyrinth offers a classic toy shop, an outdoor toy location, and an "early years" store with baby items so that you can find the perfect clothing item, baby equipment, special gift, or beloved toy for your kiddo to treasure for years. Stop in at one, or check out all three!
Miracle Mile Toy Hall
Erynn: Miracle Mile Toy Hall was voted the best alternative to Toys R Us, which makes sense given their huge collection of baby and toddler toys, dress-up items, and vintage and new products. They also have a party and event space where you can host events, including birthday parties!
Eggy
Erynn: Eggy is a boutique that curates clothing from all over the world to give kids an international style without ever leaving LA! An eclectic mix of clothes, accessories, toys, and gear means you can find a great gift or clothing item for every scenario.
Noodles Kids Resale Boutique
Erynn: A local resale boutique that's been around since 2000, Noodles has all kinds of items, from strollers and other baby equipment to books, toys, and clothes. Along with offering resale items at reasonable prices, Noodles also runs specials, like a free outfit for your new baby plus first visit discounts. And, if you bring items in to sell, you'll receive store credit that you can use immediately.
Earth Baby Boutique
Erynn: An eco-boutique that caters to parents who prefer natural products (think cloth diapers and handmade toys), Earth Baby Boutique stocks everything from organic diaper balm and baby carriers to wood toys and sweet board books. The store also has a creative learning space on-site for special events.
