2025 Boston Summer Camps (Interactive Guide)

Erin P.:  Mass Motion Dance Summer Camps offers Mini Kid's Camps, Children's Camps and Teen Intensives. Mini Kid's Classes include one hour of dance, an arts and crafts project, and a snack. Children's Camps include two different technique classes each day such as ballet, modern/contemporary, jazz, Broadway, tap, hip-hop, and lyrical. Additional activities include improvisation, tumbling and choreography. In the Teen Intensives, campers can dance all day. They are taught in a variety of dance, from classical ballet to modern, and everything in between!

This creative STEM-based summer camp empowers kids and teens to discover their own inner hero. Activities include potion-making (chemistry), deciphering scrolls and spells (languages), biology, environmental science and conservation in the classroom and hiking the nearby woods, creatures and mythical item research (history, literature and mythology). The adventures also promote critical thinking and communication skills all while having a blast!

Wildwood is a camp for outdoor exploration. Campers will get to choose from a variety of activities daily including wetland exploration, paddle boarding, archery, sailing, improv, arts & crafts and swimming. Each evening includes games that involve the entire camp as well as campfires, songs and skits. In addition, a special overnight camping trip for those attending a two-week session creates a great bonding experience and further enhances campers' connection to the outdoors.

Tracy Snyder Molina:  The Worcester JCC welcomes all children of diverse faiths and culture and membership is not required. Campers will participate in themed programming and activities and learn about different cultures all while having a blast and making lots of friends! Daily activities include swim, arts & crafts, nature, and sports. Campers can add fun electives to their week including fishing, horseback riding, golf, cake wars, coding and so much more.

Camp Middlesex offers safe camp programs in a tech-free, natural wonderland and focuses on building life skills through the 4-H mission of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health. Campers get to choose weekly activities such as archery, field sports, swimming, horseback riding, woodworking, ceramics, dance, video production, barnyard care and outdoor living skills. Weekly themes and camp-wide games, lip sync contests, dances and weekend field trips add to camp life fun.

Mass Gymnastic Center is a gymnastics training center for both competitive and non-competitive gymnastics. Summer camps provide gymnastics skill training in a fun way. Kids will work on all the apparatus, bounce on the Tumble Trak, go in the foam pit and enjoy open gym time. Besides gymnastics, kids will get to do fun contests, arts and crafts, and more. Each week has different themes and events.

Camp Kenwood and Camp Evergreen offer boys and girls a program designed to learn and develop social and emotional intelligence, resiliency and critical thinking while staying committed to their core values of friendship, fun and exploration. The structured choice schedule encourages campers to challenge themselves with activities such as individual and team sports, waterfront activities, instructional and free swim, climbing and ropes courses, visual and performing arts and outdoor adventures as well as evening programs and special events.

Tracy Snyder Molina:  Campers follow a weekly schedule including a daily swim lesson, outdoor activities including sports, games and an outdoor adventure challenge course and arts and crafts. Grouped by grade, younger campers have a more structured schedule, while older campers have more choice in their daily activities. Older campers also have the opportunity to team up with participants in the Overnight Program, developing friendships with kids from around the country and around the world.

Erin P.:  Camp Thoreau offers a summer day camp in their natural, outdoor environment. Fun is the name of the game as campers can enjoy archery, arts & crafts, field sports, high and low ropes course, swimming, and more! There is also indoor space available in case of inclement weather.

Tracy Snyder Molina:  Camp Sewataro embodies the spirit of a classic summer day camp filled with a rotating weekly schedule of activities including rock climbing, fishing, horseback riding, archery, tennis, swimming, crafts and so much more as well as camp traditions such as daily opening and closing exercises, Friday special events and optional overnights for older campers.

Tracy Snyder Molina:  Situated on the campus of Concord Academy, this summer camp strives to help campers to be their best selves through community, character, friendship and healthy risk-taking. Typical activities include canoeing on the Sudbury River, music, performing arts, woodshop, team building, sports, swimming and lunch in their air-conditioned dining hall.

He loved everything about this experience — being outdoors, exploring the woods, learning more about nature, the amazing counselors, and getting to meet new friends. He truly adored the counselors, and looked forward to camp each and every day. He cried when we left on the last day, begging to keep going. He actually made a comment that if school was like NEOC, he would be happy to go every single day. Thank you SO MUCH for creating NEOC — this has been an experience of a lifetime for our son — and we cannot wait to sign up for next year!

Tracy Snyder Molina:  At Summer Fenn, campers will engage in core activities of swim instruction, arts & crafts, adventure/challenge course, sports/games, and nature/science. Each camper will also have choice blocks, called electives, in which they can choose from a wide range of fun activities like scavenger hunts, LEGO creations, duct tape art, juggling and speed stacking!

LINX Camps offers the greater Boston area a premier summer day camp experience with fun and innovative divisions — junior, general, adventure, performing arts, sports, and STEAM. Campers can choose from an extensive variety of camps: Ninja Warriors, Cupcake Battles, and Theater to Fashion, Spy, and more! An enthusiastic and attentive team, led by industry experts, recognizes each camper's strengths, and the campus at the Dana Hall School in Wellesley has many fields for traditional camp games and activities - as well as air conditioned indoor facilities for when the weather doesn't cooperate!
