Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary & Arboretum
Shila: Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum is a 12-acre arboretum that attracts students, nature enthusiasts, biologists, families and tourists. Enjoy tours & attend annual family events like their Summer Concert Series along the Pike River. Families can also enjoy taking classes & workshops together.
Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory
Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, known by locals as "The Domes," is located at Mitchell Park in Milwaukee and operated by the Milwaukee County Park System. Each of the three domes - Desert, Floral, and Tropical - has a huge variety of plant life with a distinct climate in each. They also have an education center for children of all ages to learn about the natural world, and regular programming for families with young children.

Boerner Botanical Gardens
Located just outside the city, Boerner Botanical Gardens offers year-round delights in its exquisite gardens. It also has frequent events, kids classes, family workshops, and exhibits which make this a destination families can enjoy with frequency.
Lynden Sculpture Garden
The Lynden Sculpture Garden offers a unique combination of enormous sculptures nestled across 40 acres of park, lake and woodland. The garden has a variety of interesting exhibits which rotate frequently, making this a place families can discover over and over. The garden offers workshops and nature tours so the whole family can learn something new.
Frame Park
Frame Park has wonderful amenities for families, including a sprawling playground, beautiful formal gardens and a public kayak launch into the Fox River.
Bookworm Gardens
