    Erin P.:  Be whisked away on a magical indoor carousel ride with Indiana roots back to 1917. The intricately-painted carousel animals were salvaged from the original ride that operated in Broad Ripple Park in Indianapolis. Now a museum favorite, you won’t want to miss this!

    Erin P.:  The outdoor carousel at the Indianapolis Zoo features many different hand-carved animals, such as seahorses, penguins, seals, elephants, rhinos, dolphins, lions, and many others! This charming ride is always a favorite of younger guests. The Carousel is wheelchair accessible too.

    Children under age 3 must be accompanied by an adult. For safety reasons, one adult without a ticket may stand with a paid child.

    Beth Wood:  Plan a trip to Logansport and ride the Cass County 43 Animal Dentzel Carousel. A National Historic Landmark, this indoor carousel is over 100 years old and was hand-carved by German artist, Gustav A Dentzel. The carousel features moving and stationary animals decorated in vibrant colors. Guests can also enjoy a ride on a miniature train featuring an engine, coal car and two passenger cars located outside of the carousel building. Both the carousel and train are located at Riverside Park which features a playground, picnic area, miniature golf and more.
