    Beth Wood:  Sign up for the annual Fire & Ice Holiday 5K sponsored by the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association. The 5K starts at the Yorktown Fire Department. There will be live music on-site and throughout the event. Parking is available at Yorktown Middle School. Participants can register to receive a long sleeve race shirt and medal, a hat and medal or a combination of all three. All proceeds will benefit the Yorktown Volunteer Firefighter's Association and RAC Trykes.

The course is for all ages and fitness levels. Participants receive finisher's medal, race t-shirt and a free bowl of chili after the race at the Red Gold Chili Cook-off! All proceeds from the race will go to Second Harvest Food Bank and the Morrisett Center Food Pantry.

    Tracy Snyder Molina:  The inaugural Paws for a Cause 5K is coming to Fishers, IN for a 5K Run/Walk. This family friendly event will benefit the Humane Society for Hamilton County. HSHC staff and volunteers will also be on-site with adoptable dogs. Families are invited to run or walk and this is a dog-friendly event. Please note, dogs must be leashed at all times.
