Bryant Park - Storytime
Jennie Utsinger: Bryant Park hosts storytimes on Saturdays for kids. Cali Co Cat entertains with "meowsic", stories, games and jokes.
Barnes & Noble - Storytime and Activities
Nancy L.: Barnes & Noble can provide a weekly escape with its Saturday morning storytime. Kids can also hang out in the store's play space while caregivers will benefit from Starbucks, which is inside each location. Find a location near you or change your routine and venture to a different neighborhood.
Books Are Magic
Jennie Utsinger: Books are Magic hosts weekly weekend story times. Curl up on the couch, grab a bean bag chair, or lounge on the rug in their lovely children's section while you listen to a story.
Bank Street Book Store - Story Hours
Jennie Utsinger: This popular neighborhood spot hosts story times for children aged 6 months through six years old. Stories are read by both store employees and children's book authors and sometimes accompanied by music. Reservations are suggested.

Jennie Utsinger: The professional Hans Christian Andersen Storytellers perform at Central Park during the summer and fall at the Hans Christian Andersen statue The Ugly Duckling. The storytellers recount fairy tales and folk tales from around the world, often incorporating music.
DiMenna Children's History Museum - Sunday Story Time
Jennie Utsinger: Plan a visit to the DiMenna Children's History Museum on Sunday and join story time. Stories often tie into current exhibits or have historical relevance. Children also enjoy a craft inspired by the story.

Society of Illustrators - Saturday Stories

Jennie Utsinger: Once a month, kids can attend Saturday Stories at the Society of Illustrators. Each workshop features a different picture book and is led by guest illustrators and Society staff. After listening to the story, kids can participate in a workshop exploring how illustrators create their books. A snack is provided.
