Cool Dallas Story Times Worth Bookmarking

Drop in for this weekly educational story time geared toward preschoolers and their parents, and stick around for a tour of Historic Car 360.

Booksmarks is a unique Dallas Library located in the NorthPark Center. Toddlers will love hearing a great story and parents will love being able to get some shopping done while they're at the mall!

This monthly event gives children and caregivers a chance to look at art together, with themed explorations of the museum's galleries, a story time that connects to the artwork, and a fun art-making activity.

Interabang Books hosts a twice-weekly story time to engage little readers with fun books and activities. Keep an eye on their calendar for "Special Story Time," when a children's author reads from their own book.

These story times are designed primarily for young children and will introduce a different nature-themed book each week. During most of the story times, a puppet, live animal or enrichment items will be included to enhance the experience.

Enjoy a day of free thematic art-making activities, story times, performances, and gallery activities. Wee Wednesdays are designed for children ages five and under, but all ages are welcome to join the fun. This event is offered four times a year—February, May, September, and December.

The Meadows Museum and Highland Park Library invite kids and their grown-ups to join them an hour before the museum opens on the second Tuesday of the month to get creative together. Each session includes story time by Highland Park Library and an art project facilitated by museum staff. Advance registration is required.

Gather the little ones and head to Klyde Warren Park for a magical morning of storytelling. It's a wonderful opportunity for toddlers to hear stories, sing songs, jump around and learn in an outdoor space.
