The animation is different from the cartoon series, which may be strange for Arthur fans at first, but the gentle mystery story that has Arthur and his friends searching for his lost puppy is sure to please younger viewers.

He introduces his high-achieving and privileged students to the hard rock musicians he loves, and tries to get them in touch with their inner rock 'n' roll animals. Though the cast is pretty kid-centric, some rude humor a la Jack Black may make it a better choice for older kids.
