10 Fun Exercise Videos for Kids

We're rounding up fun exercise videos for kids, all recommended by parents who love them for keeping busy at home. If your kids have a fitness tracker, it's cool to see just how much they are really moving!

Fellow parents would love to know about your go-to YouTube channels and websites for online kids exercise, so please review any movement, yoga and dance workout videos your family has tried.

    Get Moving With Disney Family

Shila:  These fun exercise videos for kids are inspired by favorite Disney characters from Moana to The Incredibles. Videos are typically around 10-minutes long.

    Go Noodle

Kristy Pepping:  My kids use Go Noodle in school for, as they say, "getting the wiggles out on Wednesday." The featured videos are created by child development experts. You can also download the app if your child has an iPad.

    Animal Exercise for Kids

Kristy Pepping:  This is a fun kids exercise video on YouTube involving animal movements. It's easy enough to follow for even young toddlers. They will show your child an animal and then your child will perform a move based on what movement that animal would make. It's also a great teaching tool about various animals.

    Cosmic Kids Yoga

Kristy Pepping:  Cosmic Kids Yoga is a YouTube channel dedicated to teaching yoga, mindfulness and relaxation tips, all geared specifically toward kids. Each video focuses on building strength, coordination and, of course, fun! These are fun movement videos for kids but also a chance to calm the mind, which is great with the increased demands on kids these days!

    KIDZ BOP Dance Along Videos

Shila:  Kidz Bop performers dance to popular radio hits using trendy moves and positive energy. Get up and move along with them! They'll show you the moves. Kidz Bop is often used in elementary schools for indoor exercise time, too.

    Jack Hartmann Kids Music Channel

Kristy Pepping:  Jack Hartmann offers a YouTube channel for kids where he features various songs and activities, like learning sign language. Kids will also learn different styles of dance from hip-hop to jazz to lyrical.

    SamCam

Karina Isabelle Kendrick:  I love SamCam’s online dance classes for toddlers! She posts a new video Monday through Friday with a different theme every class. The classes are simple enough for my 4 year old daughter and 7 year old niece to follow and they love to get up and dance! Past dance videos have featured: Cinderella, Lion Kind, Descendants, Trolls, Frozen, and more. Videos run about 15 minutes.

Get Kids Moving by Glenn Higgins Fitness

Shila:  These YouTube exercise videos for kids are themed to favorite superhero franchises and more. Videos feature characters in action as they guide simple, kid-friendly exercises: Batman, Avengers, Star Wars, Spiderman, etc. There is even a Fortnite dance workout.

    P.E. Depot by Michael Ginicola

Shila:  Michael Ginicola's YouTube channel for student fitness features a variety of fun and engaging game exercises. For example, his popular "would you rather fitness" videos aim to get kids moving from one end of the room to another after viewing a series of kid-friendly questions, etc.

    Patty Shukla Kids TV

Amy S.:  When our toddler boys are getting restless indoors, we turn on Patty Shukla’s music and movement videos. She is energetic, silly, and irresistible (to kids, anyway). Our favorites are “Jump!”, “I Can Do It,” “Shake and Move,” and the alphabet phonics song.
