Events include Autism-friendly evenings, sensory-friendly afternoons, vision-impaired family evenings, and mornings or evenings for families of deaf, hard of hearing or KODA (kids of deaf adults) infants and toddlers. Evening events include dinner with a gluten-free option. Pre-registration is required.

Children and adults with disabilities can learn to sail and experience the joy of being on the Charles River at Community Boating. CBI’s Universal Access Program is a national leader in accessible programming, serving hundreds of individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities with specialized equipment, programs, and training. One-on-one instruction allows sailors to progress at their own pace and develop a thorough understanding of sailing as well as track their progress toward goals within individualized curricula.

The Morningstar Access program at the Boston Children's Museum offers an opportunity for families of children with special needs or medical needs to visit the museum without the large crowds. These special programs limit attendance to 100 people to allow these families to explore and enjoy the museum in a calm setting. Advanced registration is required.
