Room To Ride Equestrian Center
Beth Wood: Room to Ride offers riding instruction to beginner and intermediate riders. Students are taught to understand and feel the horse while riding, which fosters a partnership between horse and rider. They are also taught basic horsemanship skills (grooming, tacking, leading).
Similar to belts in Karate, Room to Ride offers their unique "Colors of Riding" program where students receive different colored monogrammed saddle pads as they progress in their riding.
Star Stables
Erin P.: Star Stables has a very qualified instructor staff. Generally students ride one hour a week on the same day and time month after month. Please call to get an appointed time according to your skill level and age. They provide coaching on the weekends at shows. They instruct off site on the weekends for advanced riders.
Southport Equestrian Center
Beth Wood: The Southport Equestrian Center offers an encouraging and supportive environment for children and adults to learn riding skills in both English and Western riding styles. Riders will also learn about basic horse care and how to groom, saddle, and bridle a horse.
Rinehart Farm
Beth Wood: Rinehart Farm offers riding lessons for riders of all levels on their 10 lesson horses and ponies. They also offer advanced riding lessons and clinics for boarders with their own horses.
Rinehart Farm facilities include indoor and outdoor arenas, a Eurowalker, grass individual and group turnout paddocks, as well as all-weather turnout.
Treesdale Farms
Beth Wood: Treesdale Farms is a hunter/jumper stable that is dedicated to creating a fun and safe environment for both horse and rider. Their farm offers outdoor arena, indoor heated arena, a upper level heated and air conditioned viewing room, large grass paddocks and other amenities. Riders are required to take a minimum of two riding lessons per week.
Boone Creek Farm
Beth Wood: Boone Creek Farm offers year round riding lessons that focus on positive reinforcement, confidence building and skill building using experienced, talented lesson and lease horses for beginner to intermediate riders who do not own a horse.

Beth Wood: Sierra Woods Farm is a Hunter Jumper facility in Zionsville that provides lessons to beginner through advanced riders. All beginner students start out in private lessons.
Taylor Turn Stable
Beth Wood: Taylor Turn Stable offers lessons for beginners to advanced riders in both English and Western disciplines to children and adults. Lessons include a minimum 1.5 hours of hands on time with the horse, instruction, practice session, horse equipment, and riding helmet. They even offer a mommy and me class where you and your child take turns riding the same horse during the lesson!
Sport Horse
Beth Wood: Sports Horse offers beginner through advanced instruction for children and adults. Their program focuses on the disciplines of Hunters & Jumpers with a strong Dressage base. Their hands on approach of grooming and tacking a horse encourages and instills relational skills.

Private lessons are $40 per hour; Prepay lessons (5 lessons) are $175 when you prepay for 5 lessons.
Erin P.: Learn horsemanship from the ground up in a fun and safe environment while building self confidence. Students will learn horse safety, horse behaviors, grooming, saddling, riding in arena and trail riding.
