Worcester Common Oval

Featherland Park
Tracy Snyder Molina: For a more relaxed setting, head to Featherland Park with some friends or family and enjoy some winter exercise. There are no set hours, the area is lit from 4pm-11pm and skating is at your own risk.
NARA Park - Acton
Tracy Snyder Molina: Enjoy ice skating at the man-made rink at NARA park. Parking is available in the upper parking lot.
Patriot Place - Winter Skate
Tracy Snyder Molina: Winter Skate offers day and evening public skating and is the perfect cure for cabin fever this winter. The rink is designed specifically for recreational skating and features an observation deck for non-skaters. On-site skate rentals, concessions and bathrooms are available and parking is free.
Jack Kirrane Ice Skating Rink
Tracy Snyder Molina: Bring the family for some fun and fresh air at this outdoor rink featuring a heated pavilion, snack bar, skate rentals and skate sharpening shop.
Kelly Outdoor Rink
Tracy Snyder Molina: This urban outdoor skating rink located right in the center of Jamaica Plain has a great family and neighborhood atmosphere. Skate to the songs of Motown and soul and then grab a cup of hot chocolate at a nearby café for a great family outing.
Canal District Kendall
Open mid-December through mid-March, weather permitting
$5/adult, $1/child, $5-$8/skate rental
Tracy Snyder Molina: Skate @ Canal District Kendall is a seasonal outdoor ice skating rink which offers skate rentals, lessons, private rink rentals, and a cafe serving hot drinks and snacks. The rink is zamboni maintained and located in a landscaped courtyard just off 3rd Street.
Stoneham Town Common Ice Skating Rink
Tracy Snyder Molina: The seasonal ice rink on Stoneham Town Common typically opens in January (weather permitting). Check the Facebook page for updates on operating dates. Bring your own skates.
The Boston Common Frog Pond
Tracy Snyder Molina: In the winter, the Boston Common Frog Pond is transformed into an ice skating rink. The rink is open to the public with an admission fee and offers skate rentals, skating aids for children learning to skate, skate sharpening, lockers and skate lessons. Snacks and hot cocoa available at the cafe. Delays or closings will be announced on the Frog Pond Facebook Page.
If weather permits, after ice skating, head to Boston Common's Flagstaff Hill for sledding and snow tubing fun!
MarketStreet Rink
Tracy Snyder Molina: Nestled in the middle of the upscale MarketStreet Lynnfield shopping center, this 50-by-100-foot rink is a great place to enjoy skating with the family. After you're finished, do some shopping or visit J.P. Licks for some delicious hot cocoa.
Hidden Pond at Derby Street Shoppes
Tracy Snyder Molina: Get active and enjoy the outdoors with free ice skating at Hidden Pond, located behind Whole Foods Market in the Derby Street Shoppes. Check the Derby Street Shoppes Facebook page for updates on dates of operation.
