Ice Skating Rinks Around Miami
With a year-round summer climate in Miami you won't find any outdoor ice skating rinks, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy this "winter" sport. It just means you'll have to head indoors to glide across the ice. Here's a list of indoor skating rinks to bring the family and practice your spins or perhaps just try to not to fall! Palm Beach Ice Works
Tracy Snyder Molina: South Florida's newest skating facility, Palm Beach Ice Works features an Olympic size rink with public skating sessions as well as figure skating, hockey, summer camps, learn to skate and learn to play hockey programs. They even offer a fully equipped fitness facility with cardio, weight and Pilate’s equipment so parents can get in a workout while the kids are skating.
Cost: $10-$12 open skate, $3 skate rental
Palm Beach Skate Zone
Tracy Snyder Molina: Skate Zone is the #1 destination for ice skating in South Florida. They offer a variety of programs on on 3 ice rinks in a fun, safe, and family environment. Multiple public skating sessions are available each week including Friday and Saturday Night fun with DJ and black lights as well as Family Fun Skate with games, prizes and a visit from "Chief the Polar Bear" while a live DJ plays the latest music. Learn to skate classes and hockey leagues are also available.
Cost: $7-$11 admission for public skating, $4 skate rentals
Florida Panthers Ice Den
Tracy Snyder Molina: Official home of the Florida Panthers, the Ice Den also offers public skating including Friday night teen nights with live DJ as well as Saturday Family Fun Night which includes pizza and drinks. They also offer learn to skate programs, youth stick & puck programs and summer camp as well as birthday parties and group outings.

Glacier Ice & Snow Arena
Tracy Snyder Molina: This 40,000 square foot facility offers a fully stocked pro-shop, snack bar, locker rooms, NHL sized rink as well as the only mini rink in South Florida. They offer public skate, learn to skate, learn to play hockey, figure skating, hockey leagues, stick & puck, party rooms and pro shop services. Their "cheap skate" public skating sessions include skate rentals and skating on the mini rink with led lights, laser lights and music!

Pines Ice Arena
Tracy Snyder Molina: Pines Ice Arena has skating activities for the whole family. Options include public skate times, skate school, figure skating lessons and competitions, youth and adult hockey clinics and leagues as well as a unique birthday party location. Skate and helmet rentals are available.

Kendall Ice Arena
Tracy Snyder Molina: Miami's only ice training and recreation center, Kendall Ice Arena offers public skating, figure skating, learn to skate and learn to play hockey programs, hockey leagues, stick & puck sessions, summer camps and birthday parties. They have two NHL size rinks, arcade, snack bar, ballet room, free wi-fi and workout room as well as a full service restaurant.
