Cornerstone Christ Church - Indoor Playground
Shila: One of the largest indoor (and outdoor) playgrounds in Nashville can be found at Cornerstone Christ Church. Kids love its multi-level climbing structures, crawling obstacles and twisty tube slide. There's also a separate area best for tots.
Ages: all children, ages 6 months - 5th grade

Opry Mills®
Shila: Opry Mills® is a grand adventure in itself with tons of shopping and dining experiences. In addition, "Tennessee Treasures," is where you'll find a children's area and soft play resting stop. It's located in Zone 3, and includes small climbing structures, comfy seating, and interactive musical instruments.

Discovery Center at Murfree Spring
Shila: This community-focused children's museum offers hands-on play and educational opportunities for kids. From the 2 ½ story super slide to the many science, art, music, and nature learning exhibits, young kids can easily spend an entire day of exploration here.
Cost: $8/person over age 2
Adventure Science Center
Shila: Adventure Science Center has been "opening minds to the wonders of science for more than 70 years." This is a destination-worthy museum for Nashville families and tourists alike. Kids can experience a planetarium, interactive media, physics, virtual reality and much more. In addition, the museum has a couple indoor playgrounds. The Imagination Playground contains over-sized foam building bricks, perhaps best geared for younger ones. The Adventure Tower, geared for all ages (including adults!), is a 75-foot tall science-themed playground.

My Gym Brentwood - Open Gym
Shila: My Gym is a kids gym with class enrollment offerings geared for early childhood development. You'll see the schedule consisting of age-appropriate music classes, art, gymnastics, cheering, literacy, movement and much more. You'll also notice they do offer the occasional Open Gym which is actually open to the public. This is called Pay To Play and all are welcome to enjoy the facility!
The Monkey's Treehouse
Shila: The Monkey’s Treehouse is an imagination playground with an array of options for kids of all interests. There's a multi-room tree house with slides, a town village, art studio, magnetic tables, train sets, Calico Critters and dollhouses, and more. Toddlers (0-2) even have their own closed-off soft area.

CoolSprings Galleria
Shila: Inside the mall there's a dedicated spot for kids to run around freely and enjoy a play space. Parent seating lines the perimeter of this closed-off play area.

Mpact Sports - Open Gym
Shila: Mpact Sports is home to gymnastics, martial arts, fight club fitness, and even extreme tumbling/tricking. Classes span all ages and all levels. For parents and toddlers specifically, "My Little Playtime" offers a parent-assisted open play time in this impressively sized gym.

Harpeth Gymnastics
Shila: A great facility to enroll in recreational or competitive gymnastics and tumbling, Harpeth Gymnastics also offers kid-friendly events and programs like Cartwheel Clinics, Parents Night Out and frequent Open Gym times. Check the calendar and drop in for an hour's use of the facility. Kids especially love the foam block pit.

Tennessee Toddles
Shila: Best for tots in their early years, this colorful play space offers a few slides, plenty of building blocks, chalkboard area, art supplies and more age-appropriate table activities. Drop in for a day of play with free Wifi! Casual care is also available should you need to drop off your child for an errand or date night.
