Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Indianapolis...Crowdsourced!

Dawn Denning:  All around the Indy area, families have been enjoying Lincoln Square Pancake House for years! This family-owned restaurant chain has a huge breakfast and lunch menu that has a variety of delicious options for you and your kids to choose from for a family meal.

Dawn Denning:  FoxGardin is a family-friendly tasty addition to the east side of Fishers. The original location is adults only, so parents sighed with relief when this family location opened. Daily specials as well as a delicious menu will keep you returning for more! They have gluten-free buns for their sandwiches. Open space keeps the noise level high, so no worries if your kids are feeling rowdy. There are coloring pages, TVs, games to play, and a kid's menu.

Beth Wood:  Wild Eggs offers a fresh approach to traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch. From the bacon and eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice, to the signature Everything muffin and Sweet Home Apple Bourbon Crepes, Wild Eggs has something for even the pickiest of eaters. Their extensive menu is sure to please the whole family. They have a dedicated gluten free menu.

Dawn Denning:  Trying to decide what to get at Rosie's is so difficult because everything they offer is delectable! Their seasonal menu offers something new and fresh for the adults, while their kids' staples will keep your finicky eaters satisfied. They have plenty of gluten-free options. The restaurant tends to be crowded, so a loud kid is not even noticed. Good luck with keeping your kiddos from noticing the delicious bakery display! There is a dedicated kid's menu and pages to draw on while waiting.

Dawn Denning:  Locally-owned and operated, Pure Eatery offers fresh food in a healthy way for the entire family! Each restaurant offers a variety of food to choose from. They offer vegan and gluten-free options. The homemade soups and dressings are super tasty and a daily special make it ideal for lunch or dinner! Each location has a unique menu.

Dawn Denning:  A favorite in Fishers, the Roost offers breakfast all day, brunch and a lunch menu at a reasonable price. This is a local diner that caters to families and allows your kids to be noisy while enjoying great food! The skillets are delicious and the pancakes and omelets are my kids' favorites. Also be sure to try their homemade bread and coffee cake because they are both a true crowd favorite!

Beth Wood:  Rockstone is famous for their wood-fired specialty pizzas made in their custom wood stone wood burning ovens. Rockstone offers pizzas, salads, pasta, sandwiches and more. They also offer an extensive beer menu featuring local, regional and imported sources.

Dawn Denning:  Does your family love sushi? Check out the HUGE seafood buffet for the fish lover in your family. There are tons of sushi options; hot and cold seafood, Alaskan king crab legs, mussels & more fish favorites. Don't like seafood? They also have pizza, pasta, prime rib & more. The favorite part of the evening will be the chocolate fountain for your family to indulge in! There is reduced buffet pricing based on your kiddo's ages.

The restaurant was created for families to dine together- so it is the perfect place for your kids to be kids. The restaurant also features video games for your kiddos to kill time waiting for their food to arrive! They have gluten-free options and a dedicated kid's menu.

Dawn Denning:  A local family restaurant, Squealers is a big hit for the whole family! The portions are huge, lots of options and the atmosphere is pretty loud. Although the focus is on BBQ, there are other options for you and your kiddos to choose, so the pickiest eaters will be satisfied too! There is a huge kid's menu with a variety of options and some tasty biscuits!

Beth Wood:  MacKenzie River Pizza is a family-friendly restaurant with two locations in Indianapolis. Known for their signature pizzas, they also offer a full menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, pasta and desserts. They have a dedicated gluten-free menu which includes all of their pizzas and pastas! A fun atmosphere and outdoor seating make this a fun family spot!

Dawn Denning:  This family-owned restaurant provides made-from-scratch meals that include daily specials and a buffet. Everything is delicious and it is a warm and inviting place for your family. Your kiddos can enjoy puzzles and coloring pages while they wait for their food. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a family meal! There are TVs with sports, crafts, and a kid's menu.

Dawn Denning:  Arni's is famous for their pizzas, but my kiddos love it for their wings and breadsticks! The restaurant has a fun atmosphere that allows your kids to be kids and a great menu to satisfy their hunger. They offer gluten-free pizza crusts. The restaurant often has large groups eating, so no worry that your kids' voices will carry over the crowds.

Beth Wood:  Napolese has three Indianapolis area locations and is well known for their artisanal pizza and stone hearth baking. Napolese sources cheeses, meats and local farm produce for their salads, pizzas and sandwiches and have a gluten-free crust option.

Beth Wood:  Known for their unique pizza crust, Mellow Mushroom serves specialty pizzas, wings, salads, calzones, appetizers, sandwiches and desserts. Their pizza dough soft pretzels are always a favorite! They have a wide variety of vegan and gluten-free menu options. With colorful murals on the walls, Mellow Mushroom's interior is fun and entertaining for kids and families.
