Pretend:  Free developmental screenings for children birth through 6 years old. Ask one of our Education Managers about your child’s development and ways you can strengthen their skills! The first three years of life are the most critical for development! Join us to learn more about developmental milestones and early intervention. 

Erynn:  The Hidden Valley Nature Center hosts Knee High Naturalists, a weekly program for young children and their care givers. Bond, explore and discover nature with your little one with hands-on learning including, hikes, music, arts, crafts, and games.

Erynn:  You might think an art museum is a place that's too stuffy for preschoolers, but that's not the case here- art education and experiences are for everyone. Mixed-media art classes let the preschool set develop their art skills. Classes involve hands-on activities, stories, and artistic exploration.

Erynn:  PLAY is an art and music-centered kids' activity center that allows kiddos to explore on their own terms. PLAY music is a mixed-age, music and movement program for young children and their families. Messy Mixed Media is a parent-and-child class led by teachers who introduce materials and methods, then let kids get messy! Projects may include paper-mache, sculpting, 3D projects, paint, drawing, and more.

Erynn:  Tinkergarten's rotating program schedule caters to kids through a wide range of ages, and parent participation helps even young kids reap the benefits of cooperative play, communication exercises, and more. Programs focus on play experiences that use natural elements but may also include equipment that instructors bring. All Tinkergarten classes take place at local parks according to a seasonal schedule.

Erynn:  Even the littlest movers and groovers can take classes at the Bloom School. Bring your young musicians and dancers to sing, dance, and explore in Family Music and Dance classes.

Erynn:  Toddler art classes at Purple Twig are for kids and their caregivers to create together. With materials like recycled components, plaster, watercolors, and more, even the youngest artists will learn to master tools and methods. Plus, classes for tots are separate from advanced classes, meaning it's okay to get a little messy!

Gina I.:  APEX encourages development, coordination, and body awareness through movement and exploration. In fact, your little one can start classes as soon as they're mobile! Classes focus on building motor skills, while teaching little ones to focus, listen, and follow instruction. It's a great way to keep tots active through their crucial development years.

Gina I.:  Bounce is a fun-filled, creative, indoor play space that combines music and physical education. With classes designed to meet the developmental needs of babies and newly walking toddlers to sports-based activities for pre-schoolers, Bounce offers little ones the chance to explore, climb, and dance while building important developmental skills like balance, coordination, and fine motor skills. Best of all, they'll have fun!

Gina I.:  Music helps build brain connections important for speech and learning, and Toddle Tunes offers little ones a hands-on music experience to aid in cognitive development and creative expression. Toddlers will dance, sing, shake, and have the opportunity to play a variety of real musical instruments.

Erynn:  Preschool Programs last about an hour and have hands-on learning experiences and animal-related crafts. Varying themes cover different topics, but some classes do repeat. Parents get to stay and play, too.

Gina I.:  Introduce your little ones to Spanish through fun arts and crafts, sensory play, music, movement, and story time. Babies and toddlers will get a fun and friendly introduction to Spanish in an immersive environment.

Gina I.:  For a fun intro to yoga, Kidsrevolving is where it's at! Little ones will learn breathing techniques, creative movement, and yoga-inspired positions. Classes focus on music, games, and fun, and are perfect for teaching toddlers to find creative self expression.

Gina I.:  Studies show that babies can communicate via sign language long before they can form words. SignShine helps parents introduce American Sign Language to their little ones in a fun and interactive environment. A variety of classes and workshops are offered, including parent & child Group Baby & Toddler Classes and private lessons.
