2024 NYC Summer Camps (Interactive Guide)

iD Tech holds tech camps for kids across the country. Innovative courses for all interests, backgrounds, and skill levels are offered in design, coding, game development, robotics and more. iD Tech Camps blend instruction with fun camp activities such as tournaments, sports, board games, and campus excursions.

Trail Blazers promotes experiential learning through outdoor adventure programs. Day camps include hands-on science experiments, group challenges, team building, nature exploration, art, and lots of outdoor play! Trail Blazers also offers several overnight camp options.

Nancy L.:  Kids will participate in a week of action packed fun! Activities include games, water slides, dance, karate, and crafts with themes like Dinosaur Week with Live Reptile Show and July 4th Celebration with Carvel Sundaes!

Kids will experience music, art, and more at Staten Island's DEA Music and Art Camp. Activities include musical theater and drama, musical instruments, rock band, visual arts, scene and prop making and more!

Jennie Utsinger:  Campers enjoy swimming, martial arts, yoga, baseball, arts & crafts, games, archery, hiking, and more at the facility and take trips to locations including Top Golf, Yankees Game, Liberty Science Center, Dave & Busters, and mini golf.

Jennie Utsinger:  Spring Lake Day Camp is located on 30 acres surrounded by the Ramapo Mountains in New Jersey. Campers will enjoy an abundance of activities at the facility, which features a heated pool complex, water slides, a private lake with a 500 foot zip line, sports fields, tennis and basketball courts, hockey rinks, Ga-Ga pits, a motorized Go Kart track, ropes course, arts pavilions, a recording studio, computer and robotics center, and more. Busing is available from Manhattan.

Nancy L.:  Situated on a 12-acre campus, there are soccer, baseball, and softball fields. Kids will enjoy playing on two basketball and three tennis courts. Swim in two in-ground pools and enjoy activities in the air-conditioned facility. There's also arts and crafts, hands-on science, dance, and weekly themed events. Kids are grouped by age with the older kids venturing out for trips. Transportation service is available.

Jennie Utsinger:  Camp Half-Blood, inspired by the Percy Jackson Chronicles, delves into the ancient gods and goddesses. All campers assume a Demigod persona, train in swordplay, armor forging, and ancient arts & crafts, play team games, learn mythology and embark on quests. Older campers at Camp Jupiter also engage in STEAM design and build projects.

Playday offers a mix of multi-cultural, creative activities year-round, including a summer camp. Campers engage in a number of fun and creative indoor and outdoor activities and fun art projects.

Located on 200 acres in Rockland County, the Nature Place's summer programs highlight nature exploration and outdoor play. Days at the The Nature Place Day Camp include nature exploration, hiking, gardening, swimming, and more. Transportation is available.

The New York Film Academy offers an intensive exploration into a variety of topics for kids and teens. Students will learn how to apply the techniques taught in the program to develop their own style and exhibit their work. Camps include film, acting, screenwriting, 3-D animation, game design, and musical theater.

Fastbreak Kids has a variety of sports-focused camps. Multi-sports camp gives kids a taste of flag football, soccer, basketball, dodgeball and gaga. There's a half-day option for younger campers with sports, science experiments, dance parties, scavenger hunts, and arts & crafts.

The Little Gym's summer camp combines physical activity, games, and arts & crafts with fun themes including Space Adventures, Harry's School of Magic, and Under the Sea!

Jennie Utsinger:  Atlantic Yachting offers summer sailing lessons for kids. In their NYC Sailing Camp for kids, groups of 6 kids per boat join ASA Certified Instructors to learn sailing skills. Sessions are designed as two-week programs, but campers may join for one week or more. Kids will tie knots, trim sails, and navigate the waters while making friends and building confidence. Beginner and experienced sailors are welcome.

From woodworking to robot building to coding, kids will have a blast with experiential hands-on STEM projects at NORY. They also offer optional soccer and swim add-ons.
