Stephanie W.: When we do get snow, the best way to spend a snow day out of school is sledding! Flag Pole Hill Park's got you covered, with awesome rolling hills that are perfect for sledding when covered with snow. You and your kids will have a blast on these slopes!

Gaylord Texan Resort
Stephanie W.: Families looking for snow and ice should visit Christmas at Gaylord Texan - a signature attraction and annual event! Themes change yearly, and over 2 million pounds of colored ice is used to create sculptures and scenes, as well as two-story tall ice slides! You'll also find fun activities like a Build-A-Bear Workshop, ice skating, snow throwing, and snow tubing. You'll forget you're in Texas when you make this trip- don't forget a jacket and mittens!
Panther Island Ice
Stephanie W.: Fort Worth's outdoor skating rink, Panther Island Ice is a must this winter for you and your family! Located in the Coyote Drive-In complex, they offer a full menu from the Coyote Canteen. They are open seven days a week for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons (and are open on all holidays!).
