Shila: Highland Orchards is a pick-your-own fruit farm -- right off the tree! Story N' Pick, an hour story time, precedes your picking adventure & often centers around the fruit you're about to pick. The season will depend on the weather, & crop availability, so check ahead to ensure pick times. You'll find a variety of fruit throughout the seasons from strawberries early on, to apples in the fall.
Smith Memorial Playground - Story Time
Shila: The 6 1/2 acre Smith Memorial Playground (for kids 10 & younger) & 16,000 square foot Indoor Playhouse (for kids 5 & younger) offers a free place to play.
Smith hosts a weekly Story Time in the Playhouse year-round for children. Each session will feature stories & songs. Registration is required for groups.
American Swedish Historical Museum - Toddler Time
Third Tuesday of each month, 10:30am-11:30am
Free for members, $5/child for non-members

Shila: The American Swedish Historical Museum invites visitors to explore the cultural identity of Swedes and Scandinavians in America. Toddler Time invites little visitors to an engaging and interactive story time with themes connecting to its celebrated culture. There will also be songs, crafts, games and dramatic play. Registration is recommended but not required.
Hands-On House Children's Museum of Lancaster - Story Stretchers

Wentz Run Park - Stories in the Park
Sue Krawitz Tandoc: Young kids will love Stories in the Park at Wentz Run Park! A different theme will be selected each week in which 3-5 books are read by staff from the Wissahickon Public Library. Bring a blanket to sit on and get comfy for some reading fun. Afterwards, enjoy the wonderful playground for more outdoor fun!
Mercer Museum - Stories Under the Trees with Darcy Fair
Sue Krawitz Tandoc: Darcy Fair of Buckslore presents Stories Under the Trees with Darcy Fair at the Mercer Museum on select Tuesdays! Kids will be entertained by stories, music, readings, interactive activities and be able to explore educational objects from the museum's collection. The events are held outside when the weather is good so bring a blanket or chair and refreshments. The events will be moved indoors for inclement weather.
Frecon Farms - Storytime in the Orchard
Sue Krawitz Tandoc: Frecon Farms hosts Storytime in the Orchard in partnership with the Boyertown Community Libary. Children will get to hear new stories each week with their peers outdoor in the beautiful grounds of Frecon Farms.
June, July & August dates are held at the UPick Cherries and Blueberries Orchard (231 Powder Mill Road)
September & October dates are held at UPick Apples and Pears Orchard (Poplar and Edgehille Road)
Art Dept. Studios - Story Time & Art

Shila: Story Time & Art mixes creativity with reading. Young artists and their caregivers can join this class where you'll read a book and create a project based on the story's theme. Pre-registration is required, and can easily be done online. Each month will have a different theme.
Lulu's Casita - Bilingual Story Time and Music Circle
Shila: Lulu's Casita is an inviting indoor playground, with a 4000+ square foot play & activity space geared toward children aged 0-5. Parents can enjoy coffee & food from the cafe’s healthy menu which offers American food staples with a Latino twist.
Join in for stories every week, music & a mini mid week fiesta.
Penn Museum - Storytime Expeditions
