6 Summer Art Camps Near Indianapolis

Myart camps are full of fun and creativity! Campers will draw, paint and create amazing art centered around a specific theme.

Children can enjoy creating their own masterpieces at Kaleidoscope of Art Studio's summer camps. Explore the world of art through clay, mixed media, acrylics, 3D art, recycled art, art journaling and more during their 2-hour long morning or afternoon camps.

Working with professional artists, campers will explore new media, improve their artistic skills, learn to express themselves creatively and gain a deeper appreciation for the visual arts. Each week campers work in professional-quality studios and have exclusive access to the Art Center’s galleries. Campers will also gain inspiration from the 9 ½-acre outdoor art garden, ArtsPark, which is filled with murals, installations and outdoor sculptures.

Newfields offers fun and educational art adventures! Campers can visit internationally recognized permanent collections, exciting exhibitions, an early twentieth century estate, and an outdoor art and nature park. They will also experiment with traditional and non-traditional materials, make a portfolio of work to take home, and share their work with your family during an end-of-the-week exhibition. Register early as camp tends to fill up quickly!

A Sewing Studio in West Carmel offers one and two day sewing camps. Campers will make tote bags, water bottle holders, fun pillows, drawstring backpacks, skirts, plushies, blankets and more! Sewing Machine Basic Class is a mandatory prerequisite for all new campers.

Summer art camps for children and teens! Children ages 7-11 can choose from a variety of themed art/clay classes. Teen (ages 12-17) half-day camps include clay, drawing, painting and mixed media.
