    The Sandlot (1993)

Sue Krawitz Tandoc:  My kids and I love The Sandlot! It's classic and wholesome with great characters, story and truly shows what life was like for kids before electronics took over.

    Luca (2021)

Kelly R:  Pixar's charming fish-out-of-water story about a young sea monster who comes to the surface and tries to blend in as a human boy for a summer on the Italian Riviera. We loved Maya Rudolph and Jim Gaffigan as Luca's parents.

    What About Bob? (1991)

Vanessa M.:  Bill Murray stars in this classic film that will have your whole family in stitches. When Dr. Leo Marvin wants to enjoy a relaxing vacation with his family, his lovable but troubled patient, Bob Wiley, follows him, wheedles his way into his family, and ultimately drives Dr. Marvin off the deep end!

    The Parent Trap (1998)

Kristy Pepping:  Great movie! We just showed this to our girls and they loved it.

    A Goofy Movie (1995)

Alexandra F.:  This little known Disney movie is a hidden gem! Fearing that his teenage son may be heading down a bad path, Goofy takes him on a father-son road trip for a little bonding time. Their adventures on the road are (of course) goofy and hilarious, and the music - inspired by the sounds of pop giants Michael Jackson and Prince - is phenomenal. One of my all-time favorites, and my kids agree!

    Toy Story 4 (2019)

Woody, Buzz & the gang find adventure when they tag along on a summer family road trip.

    Heavyweights (1995)

Nostalgic 90s summer camp movie about a camp for overweight kids that's taken over by a fitness fanatic.

    Secondhand Lions (2003)

This endearing story about a boy who goes to live with his two eccentric uncles for the summer is a good movie to watch with your tweens or older kids.

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005)

Four teens spend the summer apart for the first time, and their unique adventures are connected by a shared pair of jeans. It's a good summer movie for teens due to some mature themes.

    Holes (2003)

Delinquent boys spend their days digging holes at mysterious Camp Green Lake in this summer family movie that does the book justice.

    High School Musical 2 (2007)

School's out for summer, and the East High Wildcats get summer jobs at a country club.
