In conjunction with SALT Performing Arts, the Stagelight Summer Camp program provides your child with the opportunity to shine onstage and be instructed by professionally trained acting, singing, and dancing instructors.

This one and two week summer theater program emphasizes “process over product”, prioritizing working together to put on a fun, high-energy show rather than always seeking perfection, and so fosters a supportive, collaborative environment that invariably results in a fabulous performance.

Upper Darby Summer Stage has been offering nationally recognized youth theater programs since 1976! They offer instruction for those interested in being on the stage as well as backstage, including music, acting, movement, storytelling and improv, along with scenery, props, sound, lighting, and special effects.

These 1-week musical theater camps culminate in a performance at the end of the week, and enrollment is limited so all kids can be featured.

Yes! And... Collaborative Arts summer camps are all about the process of imaginative play, and making art collaboratively. Younger campers will be introduced to acting, visual arts and more during themed weeks. Older campers will participate in more intensive performing arts instruction.

Campers work together to create an original performance with comedy, drama and suspense. The campers design and create the elements such as characters, setting and plot. On the final day, the students will perform their play complete with costumes and props. Walnut Street Theater is an honored and historic Philadelphia theater. They offer Camp Walnut to teach kids the fundamentals of performance through music, dance, and theater games and activities. Beginner students will write and perform an original musical, while more advanced campers will perfect their craft through classes and perform a scripted musical. The most experienced campers will receive intensive instruction and perform in a fully produced show directed by industry professionals.
