Swim practice takes place at either Lyons Township High School – South or LyonsTownship High School – North. The purpose of the Club is to develop swim abilities  in all aspects of the aquatic sport. All kids will need to try out for the swim program. These take place in August each year.

Swim meets are one time a month for the beginner levels and the more advanced levels have more. Try-outs for first time members are required, and swimmers must be in district 109, 112 or 113 for the program.

    Fox Valley Swimming offers two levels. For new swimmers, they will sign up for a try-out and then be placed into one of these two groups. The Team Development Group is designed for novice swimmers that either are not ready for the regular team or cannot commit to the practice schedule. This group practices three times per week, mostly in the small pool, and are eligible for home meets only.  The Team level will practice several times a week and compete in 7-9 meets.

Swimmers can choose to compete in the winter short course season, summer long course season or both.  New swimmers who want to join must come to an evaluation by a Maverick Coach prior to registering.
