Brookville Lake
The lake property has more than 25 miles of hiking trails, boating opportunities, and nationally known recreational and sport fishing. Two beaches and more than 400 campsites make this an ideal spot for families.
Hidden Paradise Campground
Truly the water lovers paradise, Hidden Paradise Campground surrounds Dream Lake, offering “Water Fun” in a designated swimming area within the Quarry featuring a floating trampoline with obstacle course.
Geist Waterfront Park
Play on the unique pirate ship playground, go kayaking, explore walking trails and more. Swimming is welcome during beach season, which runs from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
Morse Beach
Families swimming at Morse Beach can bring their own chairs, pool noodles, life jackets and floaties. Concessions are available.
Eagle Creek Park
On the east side of Eagle Creek Park, there is a small beach with lifeguards on duty. A portion of the swimming area is 5 feet deep and another is nearly 3 feet. After playing in the water, you can head over to the nearby playground, play beach volleyball, visit the concession stand or opt for your own picnic. A large beach shelter is also available for rent. Monroe Lake
Swimming at Monroe Lake is permitted between Memorial Day and Labor day at the Paynetown and Fairfax recreation area beaches.
Hardin Ridge
The Hardin Ridge complex includes six shady campground loops, two picnic areas with shelters, and two rental cabins. The area offers something for everyone, with activities like camping, picnicking, boat launching, swimming, nature walks, and interpretive programs offered in a forested environment.
Cagles Mill Lake
If your family loves boating and kayaking, fishing and swimming, this lake near Indianapolis is a great place to spend the day in the water. There is a nature center on site along with playgrounds, trails, and a pool for the kiddos to enjoy!
