Do you celebrate your child's half birthday?

Do you celebrate your child's half birthday? My daughter's seventh "and a half" birthday is coming up and I'm considering celebrating it. Is this common?

I am open to making a special dessert or even a small birthday cake from scratch! And moving forward, I might even apply for "birthday clubs" at these restaurants that celebrate birthdays using my kid's half birthdate instead.
