    Sleepytime

    Time

    Season 2 Episode 9

Jane T.:  Sleepytime is my favorite. The bed hopping, taking kids potty in the middle of the night, comforting children when they have bad dreams are all relatable aspects of real life. I especially love the message that even though a child may want their independence and claim to not need their parent, the parent will always be there to support them.

    The Pool

    Time

    Season 1 Episode 22

Alexandra F.:  This has to be one of the best Bluey episodes ever, and one I always recommend to parents who haven't yet discovered this incredible show. It's seriously Seinfeld-level genius, only about family life. Bandit takes the girls to the pool, poo-pooing Chili's reminder to take the bag of pool "stuff," while he and Bluey tease her for always focusing on "boring" things. Well. You can imagine how their time at the pool goes. Without flip flops, sunscreen, floaties, goggles, towels, snacks, etc etc, the outing is a huge bust, and watching Bandit deal with it all kept me laughing pretty much the entire 8 minutes.

    Camping

    Time

    Season 1 Episode 43

Alexandra F.:   Although the best Bluey episodes are often the ones that hilariously showcase funny, every day moments of life with kids, this heartwarming episode stands out for its sweet reflection on childhood friendships. When her family goes camping, Bluey meets a new friend who doesn't speak English. Despite the language gap, the two develop a wonderful friendship, demonstrating the ease with which kids often make friends, and the special place different friendships might have in our lives. The end of the episode never fails to bring a tear to my eyes!!

    Flat Pack

    Time

    Season 2 Episode 21

Michael Farina:  The episode starts with the Heelers coming home with a to-be-assembled furniture item (do they have Ikea in Australia?) While the parents assemble this in the background, making familiar assembly mistakes, Bluey and Bingo play with the packing material in a way that explores the evolution of life on Earth, gives insight in what it means to be a parent, and reveals the meaning of life. This might be the finest 6 minutes of film ever made!

    Pass the Parcel

    Time

    Season 3 Episode 13

Alexandra F.:  This is the episode of Bluey that gets watched more than any other in our house, and it's not just the kids requesting it! Lucky's dad is shocked to learn that a birthday party game he played growing up has been modified so that now, all players get a prize, rather than having just one big winner. His attempts to bring back the original rules - "Lucky's Dad's rules," if you will - make it one of THE funniest Bluey episodes ever. Watching the kids react to the new rules - and Lucky's dad react to them - seriously had me laughing so hard I cried!

    The Quiet Game

    Time

    Season 2 Episode 35

Alexandra F.:  As the mom of two littles and two teenagers, I loved watching this episode both for the hilarious antics between Bandit and the kids, and for the sweet substory about the teenager on his very first day of work. Bandit's attempt to get the girls to quiet down with the "Quiet Game" backfires when he needs them to tell him what present to buy their cousin. Through a hilarious and drawn out game of charades, they finally succeed in communicating what toy he needs to buy - thanks in large part to our adorable teenage hero!

    Mini Bluey

    Time

    Season 3 Episode 6

Alexandra F.:  Bluey and Bingo make a game out of pretending to be one another, so we are treated to seeing double Bluey in action, followed by double Bingo. The girls' awareness of their own personality traits and unique quirks makes this one of the funniest Bluey episodes, in my opinion, and when Chili and Bandit quietly acknowledge "how good" double Bingo is, I couldn't help but crack up! Parents may not have favorites, but some kids sure do make life easier than others...borp, borp, borp, borp! :)

    Takeaway

    Time

    Season 1 Episode 14

Alexandra F.:  Bandit takes the girls to pick up food for dinner, and when he realizes the spring rolls are missing from their order decides to wait outside the restaurant while they make them. Of course, in true Bluey style, we see just how much trouble two little kids can get into in five minutes! This Bluey episode is so funny because it's just so true!!!

    Granny Mobile

    Time

    Season 3 Episode 34

Michael Farina:  The second part of Bluey Season 3 just dropped, and my family binge-watched them all. The funniest by far was Granny Mobile! The girls are playing "Grannies" with Muffin, who is playing a grouchy granny. They wind up at a garage sale, and Muffin's encounter with a real grouchy granny is priceless! It's the funniest video I've watched this week.

    Fairy Tale

    Time

    Season 3 Episode 25

Alexandra F.:  The Heeler family explores what it means for a story to be "true" in this funny Bluey episode where Bandit tells the girls a real-life fairy tale from his own childhood. I know I can’t be the only parent who appreciates the 80s flashback, and Bandit's hilarious characterization of it as a wild place where no one wore helmets and trampolines had no nets.

    The Claw

    Time

    Season 1 Episode 19

Alexandra F.:  When the girls fail to win a prize from one of those claw machines at the arcade, Chili tries to make them feel better by pretending to be a claw machine and letting them "win" a stuffed animal. Bandit, however, decides to make it a teaching moment. I could not help laughing out loud at his oh-so-familiar yet misguided attempt to teach the girls a lesson that was clearly going over their heads, and Chili's responses to his misplaced enthusiasm are pure gold.

    Bin Night

    Time

    Season 2 Episode 32

Alexandra F.:  So much can be shared over small daily rituals, and this wonderful Bluey episode does a great job portraying this simple but powerful truth about family life. As Bluey and Bingo help Bandit take out the garbage every week, and as they sit with Chili on the front porch before school every morning, the kids and parents talk about the things that happen in each other's days, share encouragement and advice, and just enjoy one another's presence.
