    MagnaMagic Magnetic Receptive Chalkboard Paint

Joseph Kelley:  If the kids can't write and decorate the walls in the playroom, where can they? This all-in-one paint will turn any wall into a chalkboard that is also magnetic. Non-toxic and child safe. Made in the USA.

Explorer Kids World Map Wallpaper Mural

Teach your kids about geography in a fun and subtle way with this beautiful, creative wall mural of a map. The colorful illustrations bring the globe to life and the large scale helps kids visualize the world they live in, big landmarks in different countries, and names of oceans and continents.

    IKEA KURA

Lisa R:  This is for the true DIY enthusiast, but the results are well worth it. If dreaming up cool playroom ideas is your thing, google "kura bed hack" for an endless list of ways to transform the IKEA KURA bed into the playroom accessory of your (child's) dreams. Slides, climbing walls, secret compartments: it's all been done. It's great for play and sleepovers too.

If DIY isn't your thing, you can find ready-made accessories straight from Ikea or independent sellers on Etsy.

    Cedarworks Indoor Playsets

Kelly R:  If space and budget allow, check out the indoor playroom ideas from Cedarworks. These modular playsets can be customized large or small for any space, and any age. The wooden sets are beautiful, safe, strong, and splinter-free.

Cedarworks also offers a playroom collection with indoor playhouses, see saws, slides, rockers, and more.

    Faux Rabbit Fur Rug

Shila:  For home decor, check out these faux rabbit fur rugs because they are SO soft! I have 3 in my house: 2 as walk-in closet runners (so plush on bare feet!) and 1 runner in my child's book nook area (under a staircase). It's so comfortable to lay on!

There are different price ranges and stores that offer this design style. I bought on Overstock and Amazon. If you were to feature this rug in a main living area, I'd recommend an in-person purchase to verify the quality isn't too slippery or door mat like.

    Crate&kids Teepee

Erin P.:  This fun teepee is a great place to stimulate young imaginations and also a fun spot for a cozy story time. You can also add a floor cushion to up the cozy factor.

    KidKraft Train Set and Table

Tracy Snyder Molina:  When my boys were younger, our train table was the highlight of their playroom. One of the best things about the table is it keeps all the tracks and accessories off your floor and higher up at the kids' eye level. This train table comes with 120 colorful pieces that are also compatible with Thomas & Friends and Brio wooden train sets. Here's an extra tip: as your kids get older you can convert the table into a LEGO table. There are lots of how-to videos available online about how to make one!

Learning Carpets City Life Play Carpet

Tracy Snyder Molina:  This fun rug for your playroom will give the kids a whole city to zoom their toy cars around. It's big enough that a few kids can play at once and it's a great way to encourage imaginative play.

    Little Tikes Trampoline

Molly Weber:  My daughter has recently discovered how much fun it is to jump on the couch cushions. In an effort to corral her to a safer jumping zone, I purchased this mini trampoline with a handle bar. She LOVES it. I don't even understand how she has a drop of energy left in her after spending an hour going back and forth to jump on it between playing with other toys. It was easy to set up and also has a higher weight capacity than other trampolines I looked at.

    Squirrel Products Climbing Holds

Joseph Kelley:  These colorful rock climbing holds are a great way to keep the kids active, without using a lot of space. Consider an easier and more difficult section that also allows the kids to climb across.

    Hopscotch Rug

Erin P.:  This hopscotch rug could provide a colorful addition to your playroom as well as a fun option for burning some energy indoors!

    Pottery Barn Kids Play Kitchen

Gina I.:  This adorable kitchen is the perfect playroom idea for your little aspiring chef! It features knobs that turn, a farmhouse sink, stove, refrigerator, and more. Best of all, the sink is watertight, just in case your little one decides to wash dishes.

    Bunjo Bungee Dish Chair

Joseph Kelley:  No play room is complete without fun, comfortable seating. These chairs are great for kids and adults and are modular and flexible for any space.

    Kids Pod Swing

Beth Wood:  A cozy spot that's just their own! This swing with inflatable seat easily hangs from the ceiling and makes a great spot for reading, listening to music or just chilling out. It holds up to 100 lbs.

    Ruggish Play Rugs

Jacki Quinones:  love love love this rug! it's reversible, functional and stylish! One side is a stylish print similar to an normal area rug, the reverse side is a fun mat for the kids. The material is wipeable yet cushiony and comfortable.
