Dawn Denning:  This park is a gem on the east side of Indy, with two fun playgrounds. The park also provides multiple hiking and biking trails along with a sledding hill in the winter.

This is one of the most popular playgrounds in Fishers, with two large age appropriate playground areas. Holland Park also has a splash pad, sports fields and trails for walking.

River Heritage Park has an inclusive playground with climbing structures, a zip line and an electronic game. Wheelchair-accessible play pieces include a swing and merry-go-round.

This park is known for its huge splash pad, but there's a recently-upgraded playground with an enclosed rope skywalk, net climbers, towering tunnel slides, and more equipment for all ages.

Beth Wood:  This park is one of our family favorites to visit. There is a very unique playground with lots of climbing structures, caves to hide in, swing sets and slides. The playground features a built in sandbox that kids can dig in, build in, etc.

This updated playground has a large and modern climbing structure with multiple slides, an enclosed net spinner and a variety of musical features to explore! There's adult workout equipment that faces the playground, too.

In addition to a big playground that's fun for all ages, Craig Park has three nature-themed play pockets that are especially great for the preschool set! One area has a bee theme and features honeycomb climbing sections. One area is butterfly themed and has spinning features. The third area is tree themed and has fake trees for children to climb.

A tall stacked-cube play tower is the focal point at this cool playground, but there's plenty more unique equipment to explore. There's a climbing hill, climbing wall, merry-go-round, and foosball!

This epic playground in Carmel has huge geometric treetop climbers with tall tunnel slides, plus plenty of cool smaller-scale equipment for little kids.

At this futuristic playground, kids can explore two enclosed towers with bridges, walkways, slides, numerous tunnels and coves, swings and much more. The park features rubber safety surfacing, two age-appropriate play zones, a splash pad and a pathway to an adjacent lagoon and boardwalk.

The updated playground at Quaker Park features a large climbing dome, safety turf flooring and a separate toddler playground. The park also has a splash pad!

Tarkington Park is a favorite for parkour enthusiasts! There are tons of places to ascend, climb and push kids to their limits. Plus, there are slides, swings and unique structures to climb.

Dawn Denning:  My kids love this park and it has one of the best playgrounds in Indianapolis! The playground is huge and includes a playground for the big kids and a smaller one aimed for the 3 & under crowd. There are wooded trails that lead to the White River & around the park. Near the entrance, the Ruins relocated from New York City has a water table, fountain & benches to relax. The Nature Center offers hands on kids activities.
