Yoga for Kids around Milwaukee
Yoga for kids is an ideal low-impact fitness activity that's fun and challenging. Get little bodies and growing minds the exercise they need! While there are plenty of studios in the Milwaukee area for adults to choose from, here's a list of our favorite yoga studios with classes and workshops suited specifically for younger yogis to practice.
Healium Hot Yoga
Erynn said: Develop coordination, compassion, and concentration with Healium's non-heated classes just-for-kids. Sessions are offered for kids from age 2 to 12, and parent participation is recommended for little ones' first visits. For older kids, check out hot, gently heated, and non-heated options.
Elle Studio + Wellness
Molly Weber said: Located in the Historic Third Ward’s, The Point on the River Condos, you'll find an inspiring and energizing studio to take advantage of adult yoga and wellness programs. They also have Teen Yoga.
Check out their Kids Mindfulness programs, too. Kids (ages 6-8) learn how to focus their attention from a child therapist, improve self-regulation skills, build resilience to stress, and more. This class can also be joined by an adult, where the adult focuses on yoga. There are a variety of packages to select from depending on the size of your family. Cost ranges from $48-200 for a four week course.
