The Boston Parks and Recreation Department proudly announces the ParkARTS Citywide Neighborhood Concert Series. The series takes place in parks across the city.

Each year, Roslindale Village "hides" eggs around the village for kids to collect at local businesses. To complete this community tradition, they often have live performances, lawn games, kids' crafts, snacks, and more. And, of course, the Easter Bunny himself always makes an appearance!

Hop on over to C.N. Smith for an Easter Egg Hunt. Try your luck at farm-themed games and puzzles. You can also learn to draw farm animals and hunt for eggs (bags are supplied).

Hop into Easter fun at Smolak Farm with their annual Easter Egg Hunt. Enjoy a day filled with festive fun, special surprises, and adorable farm animals. Egg hunt tickets include an Easter Bunny craft, a goodie bag, a donut, a bag of animal feed, one hayride ticket (adult tickets sold separately), a visit with the Easter Bunny and other characters, and, of course, the egg hunt, with a chance to find the golden egg with a special prize. 

The Easter Egg Hunt at Lanni Orchards offers crafts, popcorn, a jumping pillow, cotton candy and more! Each child gets to find 10 eggs in and around the farm stand. The Easter Bunny will also be visiting. Be sure to check the hours to see when he will be hopping by the farm!

Benefitting the Phillipston Congregational Church, this community event is held the day before Easter and is fun for all ages! This includes free egg hunts for kids, raffles with large prizes, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, and much more!

Sauchuk's Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch offers story times with characters. Princesses or superheroes will begin by reading their own stories, followed by singing, playing, and taking photos with young guests. Admission to the farm must be purchased, but there is no additional fee for the storytime.

Join the Paragon Carousel for a special storytime in the summer. A special favorite character will appear at the Carousel to read to the kids gathered each week. After storytime, the special guest will welcome kids to ride on the antique carousel.

Bring the family along with a blanket/chair to Dandelion Park and listen to children’s stories read every Tuesday at 6 PM throughout the summer. Kids are welcome to wear their pajamas and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Follow them on Facebook and/or Instagram to stay informed on any weather cancellations.

The EcoTarium promotes hands-on exploration for inquisitive toddlers and preschoolers with its early learning program, Ready, Set, STEAM, featuring a story, craft, sometimes even a live animal encounter. Tickets are available at the information desk.

The princesses or ponies from Pony Town Parties can come right to your event or house party!

Barn Babies will provide your event with an educational and hands-on experience for all ages. Depending on the setup, they will bring 20-40 animals which include bunnies, chicks or ducklings, a diapered goat or lamb, a potbellied pig, kittens, and puppies.

Theater in the Open lets kids explore the world of theater with a variety of summer programs. Campers will enjoy classes in acting, improvisation, dance, and visual art and explore nature in Maudslay State Park.

Kids can learn how to catch the waves at Northeast Surfing Academy's summer camp on Nantasket Beach. Kids will learn the techniques, etiquette and safety rules of surfing as well as explore ocean and marine biology topics.

Summer Arts at Derby Academy is a unique program that combines art, writing, sports, dance, theater, gymnastics and more into one summer option guaranteed to create lifelong memories. Kids will fill their days with a variety of classes in a range of subjects. During Summer Specialty Week, campers will enjoy a week of exploration and discovery with specialized camp offerings in chess, STEAM, sewing, theatre, visual arts, and more!

Community Boating Inc. teaches kids to sail, kayak, paddleboard and more at its facilities on the Charles River Esplanade. Junior Program members are able to take as many classes as they want, but should register early as classes do fill up fast.
