Jonamac Orchard is a four-generation family Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch that has been in operation since 1984. The apple orchard is part of the 105-acre farm in Northern Illinois, with over 20,000 apple trees. They also have a huge selection of pumpkins you can pick yourself from their massive 12-acre patch!

Kroll's Fall Harvest Farm provides fall fun and education to all ages. They strive for you to leave having learned something new. Each year they provide new curriculum with a game in their corn maze. Their knowledgeable staff can teach you about the different types of animals at the petting zoo and help you pick the perfect pumpkin. 

The Odyssey Fun Farm is fun for all ages! It is built on a 110-acre farm! They boast a 5-acre courtyard full of family-friendly activities: a giant pillow bouncy, barnyard zoo, a cow train, duck races, hay rides, pony rides, and more! Their pumpkin patch offers thousands of pumpkins of all shapes, sizes, and colors, so you will surely find the perfect one for you!

Visit Sonny Acres Farm for their fall festival and pumpkin patch. Pumpkins, amusement rides, hayrides, self-feeding farm animals, farm-fresh produce, and beloved treats like apple cider donuts and taffy apples remain staples of the Sonny Acres experience.

County Line Orchard offers u-pick apples, u-pick pumpkins, u-pick sunflowers, a corn maze, their moo choo train, a kids farm, and more!

Pumpkin Fest will feature family activities and attractions for all ages including amusement rides, shows, fall merchandise, pumpkin sales, and of course everyone's favorite fall treats such as apple cider donuts, fudge, and much more!

Glenview Park District’s four-pool indoor aquatic center has been voted the North Shore's best water park, and includes the Splash Landings Play Pool, which slopes from zero-depth to 3 ½ feet, has an air traffic control tower-themed waterslide and interactive water play features. Their indoor pool is open during the winter months only.

The Danny Cunniff Park sled hill is located south of Centennial Ice Arena, near the back of the park. There is no supervision or warming facility.

Wood Oaks Green Park is home to one of the largest hills in the area and is used heavily during winter for sledding. Big enough and steep enough to even give a thrill for teenagers.

The Lakewood hill is part of a dedicated Winter Sports Area at the Lakewood Forest Preserve. It is lighted, allowing for extended winter fun every day. It’s next to the ice skating rink, so you can enjoy two activities in one visit.

Warren Township has two designated, lit sled hills - a large hill and a bunny hill. Sleds and saucers are allowed when there is an adequate snow base during normal park hours. You can check sledding conditions by calling their rainout line, 847-999-0405.

This large hill is wide and supports multiple sledders at the same time. A sign will be posted if the snow is deep enough to tube. It is lit and open in the evenings.
