I always made more types of vegetables than they needed and they could choose one NOT to eat.

I have a grab it mop that bends with an extendable handle. Makes that job a lot safer for this elder.

I also do a final kitchen counter clean before going to bed. Everything is put away in the space it belongs and now during Covid issue the counter is sanitized including faucet handles, etc. Having a clean space when the day starts is wonderful.

I believe a youth group party is a better match. How about a treat board (think candies, snacks, etc) to share with friends during a movie or game night.

We are a no outside shoes in the house. We grew up on a farm. Those shoes are disgusting. Then, when moving to the city, I noticed all the trash, spitting, etc. So the no outside shoes in remains. I now have a Fitbit and during Covid walk miles inside the house. I bought yoga shoes and placed an arch support. Works wonders.
