Beyond the Badge 5K Run and Walk honors Deputy Jason Baker who was killed in the line of duty on Sept. 17, 2001 and proceeds go to his foundation. This day gives members of the community and those in public safety the ability to come together to compete in honor of those that have fallen. The events include a 5K run and fitness walk, a 5K team competition, and a 1.5 mile family stroll.
