Each week of summer dance camp at Studio B will feature dancing, movies, crafts and more, centered around a fun theme. All camps end with a performance for family and friends.

There are many aspects to a theatrical performance, and Stage West has them all covered! Weeklong camps will cover stage acting, singing and dancing, and each camp ends in a showcase for friends and family! Teens can participate in the Summer Conservatory where they will learn about acting, scene design and tech, ending the program with a fully produced performance.

Catch the rhythm of Safari Nights at the Dallas Zoo this summer and fall! Groove to live tunes under the stars with a fresh genre of music every Saturday evening! 

The Dallas Arboretum holds outdoor concerts each Thursday in the Spring and Fall (giving you a break during the summer heat!). Enjoy great tunes surrounded by the beauty of the arboretum. Tickets are limited and some concerts sell out, so get yours while they last.

 'til Midnight at the Nasher presents live outdoor concerts, film screenings, and opportunities to experience art on view. Enjoy the Nasher Garden with music that reminds us of the power of the arts to reflect, motivate, calm, and inspire. 

Weekly concerts include performances by two bands, food trucks, Play Lewisville on Wheels activities, bar and vendors.

For 30 years, these free outdoor concerts in Denton have invited guests to sit on the beautiful Downtown Denton lawn and enjoy a lineup of local music. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Each year, the symphony holds free Dallas outdoor concerts at different venues throughout the city. This is an amazing way to expose your children to live orchestral music and enjoy an evening outside!

Camp John Marc provides camp opportunities for children living with chronic medical and physical challenges. Camps specifically for children with spina bifida, those who have muscular dystrophy, those who are burn survivors, and more, offer the unique experience of spending a week with kids just like them, who understand what they are going through!

This 100% u-pick farm near Dallas grows blackberries, tomatoes, beets, carrots, peppers, cucumbers, summer squash and more with regenerative farming practices. The pick your own season runs mid-May through mid-July. Reservations are required to ensure short lines and plenty of produce for everyone, and a limited number of season passes are offered for families that want to visit multiple times throughout the summer. No synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, or other additives are used.

Lavender Ridge Farms is home to a beautiful lavender field and more perennial gardens. Visitors are welcome on certain days from March to October to visit with rescued farm animals and enjoy the gardens. U-pick lavender is offered during blooming season, typically early June through July. The farm also features a cafe with lavender-inspired cuisine and a gift shop with handmade products.

NTPA has a variety of production-based drama camps, as well as options combined with creative arts, workshops and theatre intensives. Depending on your child's age, level of interest, and preferred location (Frisco, Dallas, Plano, Fairview, Southlake) different camps are offered. All camps end with a camper showcase.

At KJ Dance summer camp, kids dive into ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop, and make new friends along the way. Each camp is divided by age group, and dancers will perform in the Camp Show Off for family and friends the last day of camp. Camps are available at both the Frisco and Plano locations.

Dallas Ballet Center has summer camps and intensives for kids of all ages! Younger kids can join the Discovery Dance Camp, where dance styles, art and music skills are explored for new dancers. Ballet, tap, jazz, and Broadway camps are available for elementary aged kids and older, more advanced dancers to sharpen their skills!

Campers will learn the basics of acting, movement, vocal work, stage combat, and improvisation with a focus on Shakespeare. Each camp culminates in a performance at Shakespeare in the Park!

Dallas Children's Theater has your child's summer taken care of! Choose from a variety of options for children of all ages, ranging from comedy and improv classes, to movie making and musical theater showcases. Kids of all ages will be encouraged to use their imaginations and let their creativity blossom for the summer!

The Fort Worth Zoo's Summer Zoo Camp gives campers the opportunity to explore the Zoo in a wild way! Get up-close and personal with activities like feeding the animals, behind the scenes tours, learning about the different zoo departments and there is even an overnight camp that includes dinner, a night hike, and a deeper look in to nocturnal animals!

Casa Manana's summer camps are designed for young actors of all abilities! The youngest campers will learn how to use their bodies and voices on stage through acting, singing and dancing, and older campers will experience and participate in professional arts training, with a performance at the end of each camp. Students with special needs, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and/or social/sensory differences also have an opportunity to explore the creative arts within an environment specially tailored to their needs.

Junior Players is the oldest children's theater in Dallas. They have an amazing system of camps set up for the summer, which all take place at different recreation centers and libraries throughout the Dallas area, so you can choose the location nearest you, and amazingly, they are FREE! Each camp culminates in a performance showing off the campers' hard work.
